We are looking for the energy of an enthusiastic and experienced Production Supervisor to further build on our success.

**Description**:
About the Role

Reporting to the Production Manager you will be responsible for the day to day operations of production to meet customer orders efficiently and effectively.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Plan the weekly production schedule, as agreed with the Production manager and Supply and Inventory manager.
Plan the staff roster each week to meet the outputs set by the production schedule while controlling staff hours and costs, as agreed with the Production manager.
Ensure food safety and quality procedures and policies are adhered to in production, in conjunction with the Technical manager.
Ensure raw materials are used first in first out and that traceability is maintained throughput the production process.
Complete approved checklists during production, record wastage, and complete all other production records.
- Coordinate maintenance for the production area to ensure the factory is well maintained, raising requests for external service providers.
- Resolve any issues raised by Food processors and escalate to the Production Manager as needed
- Maintain a training/skills matrix for production staff, to assist in the production planning process.

Provide input during the development process for new products as required, for example assisting the NPD/Technical teams with production trials

**Skills and Experience**:
Proven experience in either production supervisory roles or other similar roles, preferably in the food industry.
Familiar with the HACCP system
Experience in OHS and training as well as working in the SME environment.
Sound ability to collect, analyse and present complex data and information effectively to support decision making and action planning
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide authoritative advice, influence and negotiate with a diversity of internal and external stakeholders at all levels
Highly developed planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and delegate tasks to achieve objectives and KPIs
Developed computer literacy, including knowledge and experience in using Microsoft suite of software Excellent verbal and written communication.
Resilience We’re a small team, you’ll be good at managing teams, time and prioritising your work.
Ability to demonstrate acumen in business and function discipline
