KB Foods is currently looking for an individual for the above exciting opportunity based in Canning Vale.

KB Food Co is Australia's largest seafood company and one of the most awarded and successful food service operators and the largest privately owned operator of Western Rock Lobster. We provide over 50,000 tonnes of seafood annually to leading foodservice operators and major supermarkets.

**About the Role**:
To assist the Production manager with the execution of daily production in the Fish Processing area.

**Responsibilities**:

- Execute the daily plan for the production of Sea Food in retail ready and MAP format.
- Maintain ongoing training of staff using GMPs and keeping Food Safety a core requirement
- Maintaining a competent and motivated workforce
- Encouraging and building a strong safety culture
- Monitoring equipment and workforce efficiency, taking action to improve where necessary
- Supervise daily activities to ensure that work is performed safely, efficiently and in accordance with company procedures and legislation
- Participate in and lead regular communication to ensure effective resource planning in line with volume expectations, leave requirements and planned and unplanned absenteeism
- Collaborate and maintain a high level of cooperation with other supervisory staff on all matters related to service, cost and productivity

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in managing a team in Fresh Food
- Working with products for Major Retailers in Fresh Food
- Managing a fast pace and dynamic environment with a team of up to 30 staff
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels
- The ability to take responsibility, work independently as well as being part of a team
