About the Role

Due to experiencing a large increase in our products and services, we are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and reliable person to fill this permanent role.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Factory Supervisor to join our team. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensure production targets are met, and maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.

Work Skills and Responsibilities

·       Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing activities to meet production schedules.

·       Organizing, coordinating, and scheduling of workflows across cutting, edging, and assembly departments to meet deadlines and quality standards.

·       Setting up, programming, operating and adjusting machinery which includes CNCs, Edging machines, Routers, and Saws.

·       Monitor of quality control procedures and inspection of final products/materials for quality compliance.

·       Oversee and enforce strict adherence to company safety guidelines and OH&S regulations, ensuring safe operation and maintenance of all machinery and equipment.

·       Lead, train, and motivate production staff.

·       Communicate effectively with management and other departments

About You

·       Minimum 3-5 years' experience in furniture manufacturing or a related field.

·       Knowledge of CNC machines, edge banders, routers, saws, and production processes.

·       Familiarity with CAD drawings and lean manufacturing principles

·       Strong leadership communication, and interpersonal skills.

·       Experienced operation of material handling and lifting equipment.

·       Ability to exercise keyboard skills and maintain accurate records.

·       Excellent time management and attention to detail.

·       Computer literacy and ability to troubleshoot production issues.

·       Understanding of and commitment to work, health and safety requirements.

·       Hold a current valid Australian Drivers License.

·       Hold a valid forklift license (not essential).
