Melrose Contracting Pty Ltd is a highly regarded Roofing company with operations in Sydney, Newcastle, South Coast and ACT.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Office Administrator for our Estimating department to join our Kings Park office.
You will be an organised, friendly & focused person who can work independently and as part of a team. You will work on office administration in a team environment.
Duties
- Filling and general administrative duties
- Answering Phones
- Data entry of purchase orders into the database
- Prepare, maintain and distribute project documents
- Assist estimators with contacting and liaising with Builders & Customers
- Keeping track of booked-in jobs, and ensuring all deadlines are met
- Strong verbal and oral communication skills
- Reliable and prompt
- Friendly demeanour
- Can handle a very high-paced environment
- Accurate data entry skills and strong attention to detail
- General computer skills including Microsoft Office (and MS Excel, Word)
- An ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise your work
- Be a self-starter and show initiative
- Work well under pressure. This is a must.
- A willingness to learn and grow and be part of a team
- Positive/"Can do" attitude absolute MUST
Advantageous:
- Previous Experience working with Residential Home Builders
- Have an understanding of roofing/construction work or a willingness to learn
- Database data entry
**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract, Permanent
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
