We are currently seeking a dedicated and self-motivated Office Administrator to join our dynamic team at our Kings Park office. Experience in the roofing industry is advantageous, though not essential.

**About the Role**:
As an Office Administrator at Melrose Contracting, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, working both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Your role will be crucial in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and supporting key departments to deliver exceptional service to our clients.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage filing and general administrative duties
- Handle incoming phone calls with professionalism
- Enter purchase orders into the database with accuracy
- Prepare, maintain, and distribute project documentation
- Assist estimators in liaising with builders and customers
- Track and monitor booked-in jobs to ensure deadlines are met
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A strong sense of reliability and punctuality
- A friendly and approachable demeanor
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

**Desirable Skills and Experience**:

- Previous experience working with a metal roofing material supplier
- Experience liaising with residential home builders
- A basic understanding of roofing or construction, or a strong willingness to learn
- Experience with database data entry

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $46,460.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
