we are looking for an experienced **Contracts Officer** **to** join our team based in **Macquarie Park **on a five month contract, to provide an exceptional level of service to all our customers.

**This is an Indigenous

**Your key responsibilities include, but not limited to**:

- Reviewing confidentiality agreements, customer and supplier contracts in accordance with relevant policies and procedures
- Participating in high-level negotiations and complex tender responses with suppliers, Corporate Solicitors Office, Sales, and Tenders Team to ensure terms are favourable and commercially viable to the organisation
- Liaising with key internal stakeholders on contractual risks and guiding them on how to manage a contract end to end
- Providing advice to senior stakeholders on commercial and legal risks
- Responsible for monitoring, reviewing and evaluating contracts to ensure that they are both commercially and legally sound
- Provide oversight on all existing contracts and register new contractual arrangements in our contract management database
- Collaborate with Commercial Managers on viability of new supplier agreements and contract renewals including standardising rebate offers
- Drafting legal documents and clauses including novations, extensions and confidentiality agreements

**To be successful, you will have**:

- Previous experience in legal, commercial or risk management positions and/or completed your practical legal training
- Comprehensive commercial and legal knowledge of general contractual practices and processes
- Ability to review and negotiate agreements (specifically risk and indemnity exposure)
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications in preferably in law and/or business

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- Carole Park QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
