**Twice Blessed Wellbeing Psychologists** are seeking an experienced allied health administrative assistant to join our team. **The availability to work 5 days a week would be essential **to assist our administrative needs.
Twice Blessed Wellbeing Psychologists is a private practice in Midland. We provide psychological assessment and treatment for adults, couples and children for a variety of presenting issues. _**Twice Blessed aims to increase access to **_**psychological services**_ **to **_**all people**_ **independent of their financial situation.**_
The business operates Monday to Friday. Experience as an allied health provider receptionist (psychologist, medical, dental, etc) **and the availability to work 5 days a week and relief work as required **to cover our other receptionists that are away or on personal leave.
**General Purpose of the Position**
- To provide high quality reception and secretarial services to the clients, psychologists and any other staff in a _caring_ and _supportive_ manner.
- To maintain _confidentiality_ of all information.
- To operate _productively_ and _independently_ with mínimal supervision required and be part of a team too.
- To operate within the organisation's policies and procedures and within the scope of their expertise.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
In accordance with policies & procedures:
- Receive and convey messages in writing, verbally and electronically
- Answer the telephone in a courteous and professional manner
- Liaise with clients in a compassionate manner and with healthy professional boundaries
- Liaise with psychologists, service providers and other professionals in a respectful manner
- Make and confirm appointments
- Keep accurate records of client contact details on Psychologists spreadsheets and other relevant lists
- Maintain a standby list for clients waiting to see a psychologist
- Update calendars
- Update client attendance records
- Billing and receipt of moneys including Medicare, Hicaps
- Invoicing
- Undertake Banking procedures _if required_
- Operate all aspects of EFTPOS machine
- Faxing, scanning, filing and archiving of documents
- Prepare documents for mail-out _as needed_
- Type documents as required with a high level of accuracy
- Monitor stationery and/or office supply levels and place orders as required to maintain a working supply at all times.
- Contribute equitably to maintaining the cleanliness of the practice
- Maintain practice dress standards
- Any other administrative duties as directed by the employer
- Knowledge and understanding of Halaxy could be beneficial but not essential
