About the Role
We are seeking a Receptionist / Service Support Officer to join our Service Support team and contribute to the wider organisation by providing high-quality reception and administrative support. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth delivery of services across Parkerville Children and Youth Care, supporting the children, young people, and families we serve, many of whom have been impacted by trauma from abuse.
This is a part-time, permanent position (0.8 FTE – four days per week). The position is based at our Midland office, with occasional ad hoc coverage at our Armadale and Rockingham sites during staff leave.
About you
Join our team and provide high-quality reception and administrative support that helps our services run smoothly. You'll be the first point of contact for clients, families, and visitors – managing calls, appointments, and enquiries with professionalism and care. You'll also assist the Service Support Coordinator and broader team with administration, meeting minutes, and office coordination.
You'll bring:
- A qualification in Business Administration or relevant admin experience (ideally in health or community services).
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and a trauma-informed approach.
- Highly organised, able to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines.
