**About the role**
Payroll
- Review weekly timesheets, communicate with team on late or missing timesheets, import approved timesheets to payroll system.
- Process weekly payroll for PAYG contractors based on approved timesheets.
- Process weekly payrun for ABN contractors based on approved timesheets.
- Process monthly payroll for internal employees.
Bookkeeping, Accounting and Reporting
- Daily Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations in MYOB and Xero
- Enter weekly payroll expenditure in MYOB/Xero.
- Enter monthly payroll expenditure in MYOB/Xero.
- Process monthly expenditure journals in MYOB/Xero.
- Complete and distribute weekly sales reports in Excel - Employee pays and Figures.
- Complete and distribute monthly commission reports in Excel.
Accounts Receivable
- Process and send weekly invoices based on approved timesheets. Import invoices to MYOB/Xero.
- Process permanent placement invoices as required.
- Upload invoices to debtor finance facility weekly.
- Distribute weekly accounts receivable reports.
Accounts Payable
- Check supplier bills against contract pricing.
- Enter approved or confirmed bills in MYOB.
- Reconcile invoices to supplier accounts.
- Arrange weekly payruns and load into bank for approval and payment.
Administration and Compliance
- Review and confirm new placement details including charge rate, pay rate, oncosts and insurances.
- Import new placement details into Astute and ensure starters are payroll ready.
- Support Finance Manager to ensure daily cash requirements are met.
**About You**
Role would suit the following:
- Recent graduate of accounting degree or diploma or Bookkeeper with 1 - 3 years experience
- MS Excel - Intermediate level
- Working knowledge of MYOB and/or Xero
- Ability to work autonomously and in collaboration with a team member
Desirable Skills
- Working knowledge of Astute Payroll
- Exposure to or basic use of Beeline platform
- Exposure to or basic use of Fieldglass platform
- Basic use of JobAdder
