**About us**

Parramatta Leagues Club (PLC) is one of Australia’s most iconic Clubs in the Western Sydney region, strengthened by its sister club Vikings Sports Club (Dundas) and newly amalgamated Dural Country Club. We are passionate about bringing together our community, supporting local causes, and offering welcoming experiences for our members and community by delivering exceptional service.

This is an exciting time to join our Club as we embark on the execution of our strategic plan which includes a refresh of our PLC Clubhouse, digital transformation across the Group, expansion of our facilities as well as exploring potential opportunities within our precinct.

**About the role**:
**Key duties include,** but are not limited to:

- Demonstrating excellent knowledge of functions packs across venues, providing clients with accurate information and quotes, and up-selling functions packages.
- Driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence and building rapport with new and existing clients
- Conducting market research to identify new markets and customer needs.
- Managing records of sales and invoices accurately with a high attention to detail.
- Liaising with operational departments to ensure clients’ needs are delivered.
- General administrative tasks to support daily operations of the Catering Team

**About you**:

- Experience in Functions/ Events in the hospitality industry
- Proven track record of driving sales and generating new business.
- Ability to build rapport and maintain key internal and external relationships.
- Excellent customer service skills and a strong client focused approach
- Willing to occasionally work outside normal business hours including evenings and weekends to attend events
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
