As a Logistics Administrator, you'll be at the heart of the operations, ensuring smooth supply chain management in the FMCG and tobacco industry.
As a Logistics Administrator, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring smooth supply chain management. Your responsibilities will be diverse and impactful:
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Efficiently dispatch and transport orders using our advanced EDI system.
- Be the go-to person to resolve discrepancies and manage stock returns seamlessly.
- Strategically replenish stock based on accurate sales forecasts.
- Oversee stock receipting and management to maintain optimum inventory levels.
- Foster strong relationships by actively engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
**Other Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Process and ensure accuracy of orders to keep our customers satisfied.
- Skillfully manage invoicing for orders in various statuses.
- Prioritise stock allocation during high-demand periods to keep our operations running smoothly.
- Utilise your exceptional organisational skills to keep order tracking reports up-to-date.
- Collaborate externally with esteemed partners and top-tier transport companies.
- Play a pivotal role in reconciling stock and investigating discrepancies.
- Keep a keen eye on stock return processes and maintain meticulous records.
- Demonstrate your knack for meticulous planning to ensure timely stock preparation.
- Collaborate with accounts to prepare accurate duty-related documents.
- Proactively maintain stock reconciliation between different systems.
- Keep communication channels open for seamless internal stock position updates.
- Facilitate communication with external partners and ensure transportation coordination.
- Showcase your problem-solving prowess by promptly resolving issues with external partners.
**The Successful Applicant**:
**Systems Knowledge**:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Familiarity with EDI is a plus.
- Demonstrates confident use of MS Office Suite.
- Possesses exceptional attention to detail.
- Exhibits excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Displays a proactive and growth-oriented mindset.
- Works effectively both independently and as a team player.
- Thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Brings solid administration experience within a logistics setting.
