**The Company**
Robert Half is currently recruiting exclusively for a confident and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a respected organisation within the Aged Care / NDIS sector based on Melbourne's CBD fringe.
This role will see you assist with the leading of this organisation's high profile accounts receivable function and to instigate changes as they undergo a period of transformation.
Reporting to a Senior Finance Manager this role will have exposure across the operations of the entire organisation and will be integral in upcoming projects and systems changes within the receivables / billing function.
**The Role**
Working within a collaborative and high performing finance team this role will see you responsible for:
- Leading, motivating and mentoring transformation within the organisation's accounts receivable function
- Ensuring industry changes are reflected accurately in processes and procedures
- Ensuring billing systems accurately reflect changes in legislation
- UAT testing
- Responsibility for training of team members
- Ensuring optimum performance by planning daily/weekly duties & activities
- Meeting of agreed organisational SLAs
- Ensuring compliance and auditability
- Month-end reporting
- Alayacare
Through managing the Alayacare upgrades and implementing process improvements and new procedures you will be assisting the finance team as they embrace organisational change.
This high-profile role will see you also build strong relationships with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
**Your Profile**
To be successful, you will have a proven background as a Senior Accounts Receivable Officer / Systems administrator preferably within the Aged Care or NDIS sector..
Excellent communication skills, an ability to work with all levels of an organisation and a strong analytical ability will see you add value quickly in this role.
