About the role*
The Accounts Receivable Officer will be responsible for assisting with the follow up of overdue accounts to maximise our cash flow, resolving disputes and helping to process internal/external forms to ensure all procedures are followed.
This role will operate on a permanent full-time basis, 5 days per week (M-F).

Requirements*
**The Responsibilities**:
The role will consist of many duties and responsibilities, however not exclusive to:

Allocate payments from customers to relevant invoices
- Generate / send invoices and customer statements
- Contact customers to verify validity and accuracy of outstanding amounts owed
- Cross-check customer accounts before releasing orders
- Release order upon receipt of payments from customers
- Communicate with customers to follow up on overdue payments
- Process and allocation credits from customers to correct invoices
- Monitor requirements for provision for doubtful debt and report where customer collection risk is identified

Ability to prioritise and manage expectations of internal and external stakeholders
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- Demonstrates adherence to directions and company procedures and code of conduct

- Intermediate skills in MS Suite of Products, particularly excel
- Technically proficient ERP systems - preferably MS Business Central [Navision]
