**Property Systems Officer**

The Property Systems Officer will contribute to a capable and highly skilled multidisciplinary team to achieve Council’s strategic objectives and vision for the City of Parramatta as Sydney’s Central City.

**About the role**

This role will ensure that all data relating to GIS and LIS including the cadastral component of GIS is maintained accurately and efficiently. Data quality is crucial to the success of the team. This position will also be required to provide technical advice and undertake field inspections to resolve issues. Daily you will:

- Ensure that the accurate and efficient data entry of all GIS, including cadastral and LIS information occurs to the highest quality
- Ensure that all of Council’s systems are maintained with up-to-date information and within the required
- Assist with the following activities: preparation of cartographic images and maps; spatial data capture services; data extractions; services searches and preparation of materials for
- Determine categorisation of land for rating
- Process property maintenance (subdivisions, consolidations, property addressing, conditions, and other associated attributes) in an accurate and timely manner with appropriate supporting documentation in accordance with Council
- Process changes of address requests, ensuring that all changes maintain audit and are registered in Council’s document management
- Answer inquiries from external authorities, and the community on property, and ownership information in accordance with Freedom of Information, Local Government Act, and other relevant

**About You**
- Relevant experience with GIS/LIS systems with a minimum two years to ensure depth of skill/knowledge, recent cadastral graduates will be considered for the role.
- Demonstrated experience in the use of spatial databases and GIS systems (such as; Arc Editor, SDE, Cadastral Editor, ArcView, MS Access)
- Experience with and knowledge of cadastral data, LRS and land titles and NSW property legislation, procedures and practices.

We are offering an attractive total remuneration from $82,023.00 to $90,329.75 (inclusive of superannuation)
