NSW Government Agency is looking for a Property Officer with to join their team in Wollongong. You will be responsible for land and easement acquisition facilitation services for government agency clients typically for water supply and sewerage infrastructure, but other infrastructure assets such as buildings, roads, bridges and flood levees throughout regional NSW.

**The Role**:

- Provide land and easement acquisition facilitation services for government agency clients typically for water supply and sewerage infrastructure, but other infrastructure assets such as buildings, roads, bridges and flood levees throughout regional NSW.
- Working within the guidelines as stipulated in the Land Acquisition (Just Terms Compensation) Act or other related legislation such as the Local Government Act,
- The role will also assist with Native Title and Aboriginal Land Claim issues.
- Undertake title, dealing and survey plan searches including Native Title and Aboriginal Land Claim searches and liaise with project stakeholders including local government, valuers, solicitors, and land owners.
- An ability to read survey plans and experience in property matters in local government would be well regarded.
- The role may suit a current Property Officer in local or state government or a Registered Surveyor who has worked in this discipline previously.
- This is a growing service line requiring additional resources to meet demand.

**About you**:

- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant Property and or/ previous industry experience undertaking a range of projects
