**The Role**
We are seeking a Facility Security Accreditation Advisor to contribute to and support the protection of Australia’s most critical Defence capabilities. To succeed you will have, or will have the ability to develop, an in-depth knowledge of physical security accreditation as it relates to the design, construction, and commissioning of high security environments.
You will work within a motivated team, as well as external agencies, to provide security accreditation advice and conduct site inspections to contribute to the management of Special Program facilities. Through the implementation of national and international security policy, and technical design specifications, you will carry these highly secure facilities all the way from initial design concept and delivery, through to their sustainment.

As a part of the Special Programs Security Compliance Directorate, you will work in a very close-knit team who collectively provide assurance to Australia’s most sensitive and critical Defence capabilities.
You will work amongst motivated and dedicated colleagues, many of which with different skillsets, who will support you every step of the way.

Additionally, you will have keen attention to detail to conduct thorough inspections and be adaptable to changing priorities and scenarios.
Due to the nature of this work, regular domestic travel will be required.
