**Position Overview**
In this role you will be responsible for achieving sales targets, market share and growth for assigned products in the Tasmania territory. You will develop customer identification plans against which you will execute a planned sales strategy. Promoting products to designated customers, within a defined geographical territory, in this instance Tasmania, travel will be required.
You will play a critical role in ensuring we achieve our overall business objective of encouraging increased usage of targeted products through:
- Creating a superior customer experience for all assigned specialists & relevant allied health, creating increased customer loyalty
- Ensuring service provided by Organon is consistent with the needs expressed by the customer
**On a day to day basis you will spend your time**:
- Building long-term, trusted business relationships with Doctors and Pharmacists
- Demonstrating competence in technical information whilst implementing product sales strategies to customers
- Displaying selling skills that understand and meet customer needs by delivering tailored solutions
- Interacting with individual customers or groups of customers using a variety of multimedia technologies
- Achieving call volume, frequency & coverage expectations for target customers
- Coordinating and implementing Medical Education Meetings
- Levergaing sales analysis tools to develop Territory Business Plans, implementing sales activities that maximise high-potential areas of the business
- Utilising the CRM to record call activity and enhance customer relationships
- Attending and actively participating in sales team meetings, including national business meetings
- Working in compliance with the Medicines Australia code of conduct as well as Organon's internal compliance guidelines at all times
**Required Experience**:
- Demonstrated successful track record as a sales professional in a defined territory, ideally in a pharmaceutical environment
- Proven ability to engage with customers, rapport building, questioning and negotiation skills, in a way which increases sales
- Proven ability to assimilate and communicate scientific information in a simple, concise manner
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic territory sales plans
- Superior communication skills, able to communicate key messages and influence across multiple channels and audiences
**Education Required**
- Completion of HSC or equivalent (essential)
- Life Science or Business degree (desirable)
- Medicines Australia (desirable)
