A great opportunity on the water for an enthusiastic worker to join the Works Crew team in Strahan Work a 4 days on, 3 days off roster with the opportunity to complete your Cert III in Aquaculture.

**The role**

A Farm Attendant in the Works Crew team will assist in the installation and maintenance of all necessary fish pen related infrastructure and the day-to-day husbandry of salmon. You will:

- Assist with net, pen and mooring set-up, maintenance, and equipment installation.
- Assist with smolt intake, grading, and the preparation of fish for harvest.
- Monitor and report all predator activity and maintain the health and safety of stock.
- Ensure marine sites and shore base are kept to a high standard of cleanliness.

- You have experience working safely in a dynamic environment, identifying risks, and taking appropriate action.
- You are an excellent communicator with the ability to build strong relationships within a team.
- You have a keen eye for detail and a proactive focus on continually looking to improve processes.
