**The Role**:
As the AP+ Group Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting processes within AP+. The role will see you ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial statements are produced and consolidated across the entire organisation. You will play a crucial role in providing insights to support decision-making at the group level.
**Day to day, you can expect to**:
- Manage the month-end process, including reviewing balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and reporting regulations.
- Implement and maintain strong internal controls.
- Lead and oversee the annual audit process.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions and initiatives.
- Assist with the tax compliance process.
- Identify and drive improvements in financial processes.
- Support cross-functional projects across the business.
- Prepare technical accounting papers for the Audit Committee and Board.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and prioritise the capabilities needed to meet current and future business needs.
**To be considered for this role, you will need**:
- An Australian-recognised Accounting degree
- A completed CA/CPA qualification
- Experience in managing the month-end close process
- Proven ability in mentoring, coaching, and leading teams
- Hands-on experience in preparing financial statements
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards
- In-depth understanding of internal controls
- A mix of audit and commercial experience
- Involvement in transformation and process improvement initiatives and projects
