Principal Medical Employment Officer

**About the Role**: As a Principal Medical Employment Officer you will provide a specialist service to Logan & Beaudesert Health Service clients, including providing technical and operational advice and managing both internal and external relationships to facilitate a client focused service and to provide support in all aspects of the pre-employment of medical staff to ensure their commencement meets policy and legislative standards and requirements.

**Key responsibilites**:

- Liaise with external stakeholders including AHPRA to problem solve any complex medical registration issues, delays or concerns for the Logan & Beaudesert Health Service, ensuring both service delivery needs and legislative requirements are met.
- Be accountable for all new Medical Officer appointments and extensions within the Logan & Beaudesert Health Service and ensure compliance with all current legislative requirements.
- Provide and maintain a highly effective administrative process relevant to the recruitment and employment of medical staff including, but not limited to, recruitment and appointment documentation, credentialing and scope of clinical practice, registration and Medicare Australia requirements and interpretation of Award requirements.
