About the RoleThe Principal House Officer / Registrar General Medicine is to provide high quality medical services to the inpatients and outpatients of the QEII Hospital.

**In this role you will**: - Ensure that the management of patients under the Principal House Officer / Registrar's care is of high standard and well documented. Participate in the provision of an on-call roster to provide emergency medical services out of hours, at night and on weekends and ensure they are available as rostered or that in the event of illness, notice has been provided in time to arrange suitable cover. If rostered on remote call to be available in 30 minutes of receiving notification. - Interview, examine and identify the clinical problems of individual public patients (and as directed by the patient's consultant assist in the care provision to private patients). Regularly consult the consultant medical staff responsible for the patient.
