We’re looking for a hands-on **Projects and Maintenance Coordinator** who can manage refurbishments, maintenance, and new centre fit-outs from end to end. This is a dynamic and essential role at the heart of our Property Services team — perfect for someone who knows how to juggle multiple projects, talk trades, and keep things on track and on budget.

Based at our East Maitland head office with flexible working options, this role reports into a senior leader and works closely with operations, suppliers and contractors to ensure our network continues to meet regulatory standards and provide an exceptional experience for patients and teams.

**What you’ll be doing**

You’ll take ownership of projects across our network, with responsibilities including:
**Repairs and Maintenance**
- Coordinate and oversee essential and non-essential centre maintenance across all sites
- Manage maintenance budgets and ensure timely purchase order processing
- Ensure contractors are properly inducted and fully compliant with WHS requirements

**Refurbishments and Expansions**
- Write scopes of work for fit-outs, repairs and upgrades
- Schedule and deliver refurbishments and relocations in partnership with leasing and construction teams
- Prepare project plans and ensure each job is delivered on time and within budget
- Work closely with Shopping Centre Management, D&C teams and other internal stakeholders

**New Centre Delivery**
- Manage the delivery of new centre builds — from construction walkthroughs to contractor coordination
- Identify and address OHS issues proactively, and coach for safety and efficiency
- Maintain clear project oversight across all phases from concept to handover

**Supplier Relationships & Continuous Improvement**
- Build strong relationships with contractors, trades and internal stakeholders
- Regularly review processes and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement
- Ensure compliance with policies and legislation while finding ways to reduce costs and improve delivery

**What you’ll bring**
- Experience in building maintenance and project coordination
- Broad knowledge of trades and services
- Ability to read and interpret building plans
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- A hands-on approach and ability to lead work across multiple sites
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- A collaborative mindset and comfort working across teams and suppliers
- Ability to travel across our network as required
