**About the role**:

- Maintain a current understanding of relevant WHS legislation and regulations and, under the guidance of the Principal Specialist Work Health and Safety, provide advice to Managers and employees to assist them in meeting their respective WHS responsibilities.
- Provide support to the Principal Specialist Work Health and Safety and Senior Work Health and Safety Officer to ensure that all WHS related policies and procedures are updated in line with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Develop, implement and continuously improve WHS processes to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the WHS team in meeting internal customer needs and WHS compliance requirements.
- Review current WHS policies and procedures
- Identifying and implementing improvements and reporting on overall performance measures
- Support and encourage a positive Work, Health, and Safety and continuous improvement culture across the business by providing professional internal consultancy

About you:

- You will need a proactive, consultive approach
- You will have experience in diversity in occupation
- You will have experience in WHS investigations and audits
- You will have strong interpersonal skills and about to communicate at all levels across the organisation
- You will have high attention to detail and accuracy skills
