Head of Technology Operations

**Key Accountabilities will include, but not limited to**:

- Develop and execute the Corporate Technology Operations business plan aligned with IT and organisational priorities.
- Lead and mentor multi-disciplinary teams, fostering inclusion, growth, and professional development.
- Build capability and a culture of high performance, accountability, and customer focus.
- Contribute to IT strategic planning, budgeting, and technology roadmaps.

- Ensure service delivery excellence with a focus on quality, reliability, and performance.
- Manage ITIL-aligned service management processes (incident, problem, change, and request management).
- Drive cost optimisation through process improvements and vendor negotiations.

- Act as the primary escalation point for service performance and major incidents.
- Build strong relationships across the business and ensure technology services meet stakeholder expectations.
- Communicate operational performance, risks, and improvement plans to executive stakeholders.
- Manage strategic vendor relationships, including contract renewals.

**Key skills and experience required for you to thrive in this role, will include**:

- 10+ years’ experience in IT operations leadership roles.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive positive change.
- Strong vendor and contract management skills.
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost optimisation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Knowledge of ITIL practices and cloud/hybrid environments (Azure/AWS/O365).
