**About the organisation**:
Jacaranda Housing is a Not-for-Profit organisation providing subsidised housing to Queenslanders in need. Jacaranda Housing manage 170 tenancies across Brisbane, Bayside, and the Redlands, with significant growth on the horizon.
**About the role**
As the Finance Officer, you will be responsible for the processing of day to day finance transactions and ensuring all accounting and administrative functions are completed within a timely manner.
**Additional responsibilities**:
- End to end accounts receivable and payable.
- Processing of expense reimbursements including credit card reconciliations.
- Reconciling bank accounts.
- Assisting with month-end.
- Assisting with preparation of financial audits.
**About you**
To be successful, you will have a strong understanding of finance and accounting principles along with demonstrated experience in a similar role. You will have a strong attention to detail and be highly process driven.
**To be successful you will have**:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Previous experience using accounting software’s, ie MYOB.
- Be highly organised with great attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, use initiative and model resilience.
- Previous experience in the not-for-profit sector advantages although not essential.
