We currently have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and talented Industrial Technician to join our team as a Field Service Technician in Brisbane.
This is a hands on customer service role that requires a self-motivated and customer focused individual. The role will help to deliver QLD support - including contract repair, preventative maintenance, installations and emergency breakdown services for Dematic customers in the Brisbane region. The position will require participation in the rotating on-call roster and must be flexible to work overtime including Saturdays and Sundays if required.

This is a permanent day shift position but you maybe required to work afternoon shifts to support operations where required.

**Tasks and Qualifications**:
In order to be successful in this role, you must have experience in troubleshooting/problem solving equipment faults, be customer focused and ensure high quality service and output is delivered.
- Trade qualified in Mechanical or Electrical (mandatory)
- PLC experience (desirable but not required)
- Experience in automation (conveyors) and material handling equipment highly regarded
- Experience in computerised maintenance systems (CMMS)
- Experience in pneumatic systems
- Ability to work unsupervised, make decisions and be results driven
- Strong understanding of OHS requirements and adopt safe work practices
- Current driver’s license mandatory
- Excellent verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills
- The ability to develop and maintain effective on-going relationships
