Disaster Restoration/ Structural Drying Technician

**The Role**:
Reztor Restoration is a fast-growing company in the disaster restoration industry that now requires a new restoration technician to join our team in an afternoon/evening capacity.

You may have seen the devastating impact La Nina has had on Southeast Qld, and we are preparing for a third consecutive La Nina this summer. It is our job to help get people back to normality if they are impacted by flood, fire, or mould.

That means you will often be the first onsite to witness people at their most vulnerable

This is a role that will require you to work as part of a team and you will undertake a variety of work which can include:

- Emergency water extraction
- Structural drying
- Specialised cleaning duties
- Fire, smoke, and soot damage cleaning/ remediation.
- Small scale demolition work
- Mould remediation
- Contents cleaning and restoration
- And Preparation of field reports

- Drivers Licence
- Ability to pass national police security check.
- Must be proficient in the use of technology and apps.
- Background in carpentry, builder’s labourer, cleaner, carpet cleaner, carpet layer, handy-man or any general trades assistant is ideal but not essential for the right person.
