Supply Chain Manager within Defence industry

Your new organisation is an industry leader, with business segments providing advanced Defence and commercial technologies across air, land, sea, space and cyber domains. This company has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Manager to join their team based in Brisbane.

**Your new role**

In your role as the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Supply Chain team to business excellence while ensuring that the team meets all contracted and measurable targets.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Leading the Supply Chain team to business excellence and ensuring that the team meets all contracted and measurable targets.
- Develop and optimise policy/process and procedures for effective supply chain management and operational success.
- Develop inventory and supply chain reporting and analysis that allows efficient management and evaluation of performance.
- Support the Program and Project Management teams with input, advice and support on supply chain solutions.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage supply chain team performance.
- Identify supply chain specific security requirements and/or report any security breaches, manage investigations and outcomes from findings.

**Please note Australian Citizenship is essential for this position as you will be required to have a NV1 security clearance or higher.**

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in the role you will have experience in the Defence industry within the Supply Chain field.

You will also possess:

- 5+ years’ experience within Defence Industry in a Supply Chain management related role/s
- Australian Citizenship
- Current Australian Defence (NV1) Security Clearance
- Experience using the Military Integrated Logistics Information System (MILIS)
