Brisbane, Queensland, Australia Scout Talent Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year
  • Hands-on leadership role reporting to the COO
  • Focus on procurement, planning and inbound logistics with room to grow
  • Be part of a collaborative, supportive culture where relationships matter
Inside Trumps: Real Food, Real People, Real Growth

Trumps Pty Ltd is a proudly Australian, third generation family-owned business based in Queensland. For more than 80 years, we've been sourcing, processing and supplying premium dry food products — from nuts and seeds to grains, legumes and dried fruit — to some of the country's biggest supermarket brands, food service providers and bulk food retailers.

We're on a mission to put a Trumps product in every pantry — and we're building the team to get us there.

Our business is growing, and with that comes meaningful change. We're investing in people, processes and systems while staying true to the values that have shaped us.

You'll join a leadership team that is practical, approachable and team-focused. It's a culture grounded in respect, trust and resilience, where collaboration and clear communication matter.

Our values guide everything we do:

  • We keep each other and our products safe
  • We succeed by working together
  • We deliver a great customer experience
  • We think outside the square and embrace change
  • We care for people, quality, the environment and society

At Trumps, what you do matters — and how you do it matters even more.

Take the Wheel: Help Shape Our Supply Chain Future

This is a hands-on role for someone ready to step up. You'll manage purchasing, planning and inbound logistics with support from the COO and collaboration across sales, production, quality and warehouse.

We're centralising and strengthening supply chain functions to support growth. You'll play a key part in:

  • Managing day-to-day procurement, planning and inbound freight
  • Coaching and supporting a capable team (team leader/supervisory experience welcomed)
  • Building positive relationships across departments — especially supply and sales — to align priorities and resolve challenges
  • Supporting improvements in planning, forecasting and supplier management
  • Helping transition procurement ownership from the MD with structured support
  • Contributing to weekly planning and operational discussions

This is not about big-picture strategy from afar — it's about leading from the front, building trust, and helping teams see new ways of working together.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone with strong supply chain foundations and the drive to grow into a bigger role.

  • Tertiary qualification in supply chain, logistics, business (preferred but not essential)
  • Solid experience in supply chain, procurement or planning (FMCG background a plus)
  • People leadership experience (team leader, supervisor or early manager level)
  • A collaborative style that builds bridges across departments
  • Strong systems knowledge and problem-solving ability
  • Calm, practical decision-making and good communication skills

Most importantly, you'll be someone who leads with a positive mindset, supports your team, and champions healthy cross-functional relationships.

Good Work Deserves Good Things
  • 10% performance bonus (linked to business targets)
  • Flexibility with up to two days WFH post-probation
  • Staff discounts through our legendary pantry shop
  • Phone allowance
  • A supportive, down-to-earth team culture
  • Charity involvement, including sponsorship of the Children's Hospital Foundation
If This Feels Right, It Probably Is

This isn't just another supply chain job. It's an opportunity for someone ready to step up, take ownership and grow in a respected, values-led business.
