About MIMI Haircare
MIMI Haircare for Kids is redefining children's haircare with safe, plant-based formulas that make hair-washing easier for families. A business that started as a mum's passion project has transformed into Australia's number one selling kids haircare brand. MIMI has a presence in over 750 retail stores Australia wide (including Chemist Warehouse and Big W) with global expansion underway.
About the role
As Supply Chain Manager, you'll lead demand planning, procurement, inventory, and logistics to ensure MIMI's products are always in the right place at the right time. You'll be responsible for optimising costs, building strong supplier and 3PL relationships, and creating scalable systems that support our rapid growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a strategic yet hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end supply chain activities, including procurement, logistics, warehousing, transportation, and distribution for both e-commerce and retail customers nationally.
- Oversee logistics and transportation for future international exports, particularly to North America and New Zealand.
- Own the demand planning process, collaborating with sales and marketing to build accurate forecasts and align supply with promotional and seasonal demand.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels through accurate forecasting, supply adjustments, and proactive stock management.
- Implement and leverage technology solutions (e.g., ERP systems) to streamline operations, improve forecasting accuracy, and enhance productivity.
- Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives, efficiency improvements, and risk-management strategies across all supply chain functions.
- Track and analyse key KPIs (e.g., delivery performance, cost efficiency, and inventory turns) to continuously optimise supply chain processes.
- Build and manage strong relationships with manufacturers and suppliers in China and Australia, ensuring compliance with trade laws, shipping regulations, and sustainability standards.
- Ensure ethical sourcing of high-quality materials at competitive prices while supporting MIMI's brand standards and sustainability commitments.
- Support compliance with international regulatory requirements (e.g., MoCRA, labelling, customs) to enable seamless global expansion.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, sales, and marketing teams to align supply chain strategy with overall business growth plans.
- Design scalable supply chain processes and systems to support MIMI's rapid domestic and international growth.
Why Join Us?
At MIMI, you'll step into a career-defining opportunity with a high-growth, innovative brand that's transforming the kids' haircare category globally. As we scale rapidly across Australia and into US, your expertise will directly add value by shaping the systems, processes, and partnerships that power our success. You'll be part of a collaborative, entrepreneurial team where every contribution counts and the impact of your work is visible every day. If you're ready to make a tangible difference, accelerate your career, and help build a brand with bold ambitions, MIMI is the place to do it.
Experience
- 5+ years in supply chain, operations, or logistics (Ideally working for an Australian made Consumer brand)
- Strong expertise in procurement and inventory management.
- Experience with e-commerce (Shopify) and major retail chains (e.g. Chemist Warehouse)
- Candidates with core supply chain experience will be considered, with e-commerce and retail chain experience being an advantage but not essential.
- Proficiency in ERP systems & data analytics for process optimisation.
- Solutions-driven expert with a demonstrated track record for delivering efficiency improvements and measurable results.
- Proven leadership capabilities with a strong sense of ownership and accountability in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience managing international supply chains.
- Proven ability scaling a fast-growing business.
