**About the role**
This is an exciting Full-Time opportunity to join Bene Aged Care’s team as a Maintenance Officer for our 163 bed facility based in St. Agnes.
**What will you be doing?**
In this role, you will be working collaboratively with the Maintenance Manager and be responsible for a range of both preventative and corrective maintenance duties right across the residence including equipment and plant monitoring, grounds upkeep, and accurate, timely reporting.
**About you**
You will be responsible for
- Perform repairs and general maintenance tasks, such as painting, carpentry, and minor equipment repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure the safety and functionality of the facility.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimise disruption and maintain resident satisfaction.
- Will communicate effectively with residents, staff, and families, being empathetic and understanding of the needs of aged residents

- Commitment to continuous quality improvement
- Previous experience in an Aged Care Environment (desirable)
- Test & Tag Certificate (desirable)
- Minimum 3 COVID-19 vaccinations and seasonal influenza vaccination
- Evidence of right to work in Australia
- Current National Police Clearance
- Drivers Licence
