**About the Role**
As a Product Manager in the Dealer and Novated team within Business Lending, you’ll be working closely with the Senior Manager of Asset Finance & Portfolio. Your main focus will be on managing consumer and commercial asset finance products across Dealer Finance, Structured Finance, and Novated Lease portfolios.
You’ll play a key role in driving initiatives that boost asset balance growth and deliver top-notch outcomes for customers and intermediaries. Plus, your expertise in risk management will be crucial to ensuring everything stays compliant with relevant regulations and legislation in both consumer and commercial settings.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Grow the Business Lending Product team’s profile within the Bank, including via proactive and positive engagement with key internal partners from Operational Risk, Marketing, Distribution, Compliance, Operations, and Legal.
- Demonstrate a strong focus on achieving positive customer outcomes
- Understand and optimise growth and returns drivers for the product portfolios
- Identifying and delivering initiatives that support asset balance growth and improve intermediary and customer penetration
- Managing risk (incidents, issues, root cause analysis, designing / testing controls, closure, etc).
- Produce and maintain customer, intermediary and banker correspondence for the product range.
- Contribute to the delivery of key continuous improvement initiatives including process improvements, system upgrades and the Business Bank Transformation
**About you** Work experience necessary**:
- Banking or financial services industry with consumer and commercial exposure.
- Project management.
- Risk management.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need a mix of skills and knowledge. This includes successfully planning and executing small to moderate initiatives, and understanding the regulatory and legislative environment for consumer (NCCP) and commercial products. You’ll need to be aware of and effectively manage risks, including incidents, issues, and assurance. Designing, building, testing, and implementing solutions that support growth and enhance customer outcomes is also key.
