**About the position**:
**Position duties may include, but not limited to.**

**Training**:

- Lead territory participation in local or regional sales training, contribute local inputs to development of sales training programs, and deliver sales training regionally or locally.
- Working with the dealer product managers, training profiles for dealer sales outcomes will be developed and maintained.

**Customer Value Chain**:

- Lead value recognition cost studies on Caterpillar products.
- Consultation may include training of customer personnel, coordination of formal training, operator, or service maintenance training.
- Follow regional market trends and key account future demand and special projects.

**Customer Job-site**:

- Profiles will include fleet configurations, job parameters, and value chain definition.
- You will understand and keep current on customer/dealer market needs and understand how and why decisions are made within the work group and organization.
- Provide support and mentor team members in continual learning and development of technology changes.
- Enhancing communication and people relationship’s, improving problem solving and analysis capability, building and using business skills, strengthening the use of Caterpillar systems, and developing leadership qualities.
- Staying up with the industry technology changes and communicate those changes to Caterpillar, dealer, and customers.

**Skills and Experience**:

- This position requires a university degree or equivalent years of experience.
- Prior experience in field assignments
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Exceptional communicator with proven ability to effectively influence others in the work group, dealer personnel and customers.
- Demonstrated ability to work on larger scale, more complex assignments and provide direction, mentor, and lead others on project assignments.
- Ability to travel up to 40% both domestic and Internationally
