Public Sector People are working with a local council to recruit a Project Coordinator - Electrical Assets for a 6-month temporary contract assignment.

As a Project Co-Ordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that the design and implementation of public domain lighting assets, and associated electrical and lighting infrastructure is consistent with the City’s standards, the 2050 vision and sustainable renewal objectives.

**Duties will include but not limited to**:

- Under the guidance of the Principal Engineer, manage the City’s lighting and electrical assets, including condition assessment, scoping of projects, preparing maintenance and renewal programs and ensuring assets are constructed and handed over in accordance with the City’s requirements and recorded in the City’s assets and GIS systems.
- Investigate public domain electrical and lighting issues and inquiries and prepare technical reports with recommendations on appropriate actions. Undertake field inspections as required, including during construction and at asset handover and preparation of accurate reports as required.
- Assist to manage third party requests for access to the City’s electrical and lighting infrastructure as defined by Facility Access Agreements and other arrangements.
- Assist in the development and management of contracts, exercising good governance, strong project management control and effective decision making. Assist in the development of specifications, contracts and other service delivery arrangements to maintain and supply electrical and lighting assets, and ensure service provider compliance with specifications through appropriate controls and effective performance management.
- Tertiary qualifications in electrical engineering or experienced licenced tradesperson with relevant experience in electrical construction, project management, contract management or a related field.
- Holds an electrical contractor’s license.
- Has an experience in the public authority lighting network.
- Has an experience with Ausgrid street lighting or similar network provider (e.g Endeavour Energy, etc)
- NSW Class C Driver License.
