Due to growth, they are seeking a Project Coordinator to assist their team of Service Delivery Managers in the Asia Pacific region for mostly in-house projects and administrative needs.
Your role will be to assist the Services team on a variety of tasks as well as managing your own small engagements with customers as the need arises. On larger customer projects you may provide support to the Services Delivery Manager with helping to coordinate the team and manage the schedule. There may be travel to the customer site at key stages throughout the project.
**Duties**:
- Assist Services Delivery Managers in Asia Pacific Territories with maintaining the schedule of consultant assignments within each territory.
- Coordinate public training activities with customers and allocation of trainers.
- Work with Services management team to coordinate recruitment of new team members.
- Coordinate the onboarding and induction training of new Services team members.
- Coordinate small customer engagements across Asia Pacific utilising a shared pool of consultants.
- Work with the assigned Services Delivery Manager on large customer projects to assist with coordination activities and consultant assignment.
- Contribute to Services Delivery initiatives.
- Effectively communicate with both the customer and vendor stakeholders.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need the following:
- This is an intermediate position, so we are looking at around 3 years Project Coordination experience with a background in I.T.
- You will have experience with project coordination and methodology as well as ideally some knowledge or experience with a software vendor using Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) software
- Very good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and conflicts.
- Ability to think laterally and strategically.
- Current drivers’ licence.
- Willingness to travel for up to a week at a time around 2-3 times per year.
- Be a team player and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Due to the nature of the client, you will need to prove Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
Desirable skills:
- Tertiary qualifications in (Computer) Science, Engineering or similar.
- Evidence of longevity with previous employers.
- Worked for a software vendor or managed external customer projects.
- Understanding of the laboratory environment and processes.
This is a permanent opportunity with a base salary depending on experience. The client has a very low turnover of staff and a very attractive bonus scheme. They have a hybrid work arrangement with 3 days in the office and 2 x WFH. Their office is based in Box Hill.
