Sorry Thanks I Love You is one of the most ambitious concept stores in the world, and we’re looking for looking for a café lead to join our team on a full time basis. If you love experimenting, working in a small but mighty team, and are looking for a wage that comes with a few special extras, we’d like to hear from you.

**ABOUT SORRY THANKS I LOVE YOU**

Sorry Thanks I Love You is a multidimensional project that exists to nurture and inspire via a mash-up of fashion, coffee, design and art delivered through a range of experimental spaces. With a culture of excellence and a focus on ideas through experimentation and exploration, our foundation is centered around story-telling and community-building.

Our flagship store and hospitality space is located in the heart of Sydney CBD. In our store space we work with brands like Comme Des Garçons, Issey Miyake, Acne Studios, Dover Street Market, Maison Margiela and Dinosaur Designs among many others. It’s a world-class curation that has seen us singled out by the best media in the world.

Our café champions the same dedication to excellence as our retail offering. Our partners include Single O, Tuga Pastries, Brickfields Bakery and Loco Love Chocolate among many others. We serve a tight menu of specialty coffee, plus house-made drinks and light snacks. Exceptional service is at the heart of what we do, and we are heavily focussed on creating an experience that our visitors cherish.

**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**

We have a culture of nurturing our team over the longer term and developing their careers along their ideal trajectory. For this reason even our casual team members tend to stay with us for years rather than months, and we don’t hire often. So this is a rare opportunity to join a small and ambitious team committed to experimentation, exploration and excellence. We’re looking for an experienced hospitality professional who’s looking to make their mark and help to guide our small team as we expand in 2025.

We’re looking for:

- An obsession with excellence
- An excitement to build a unique user experience to create a best in class offer
- Hospitality leadership or management experience - ideally plenty of it
- A love for coffee, food, design, art, fashion, and travel
- Strong barista and café experience, plus a love of specialty coffee
- Experience supervising and nurturing a team
- Immaculate grooming and presentation
- Full time availability - including working at least one weekend day and public holidays as required

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
