Do you have experience leading the identification, capture and development of strategic partnerships? PCYC NSW is looking for a passionate and results-driven Partnerships and Philanthropy Manager to grow and diversify their income streams to increase the impact they have on the youth of NSW.
**ABOUT THE ROLE**
You will report to the General Manager, Fundraising and Marketing in this newly created, pivotal and high-impact position. PCYC’s relationships and partnerships in the community are unique, widespread, and very important.
You will:
- Create and lead the philanthropic strategy, forming strong external partnerships that support PCYC NSW to achieve greater impact across mission outcomes.
- Capture and retain values aligned partners to support PCYC NSW and their work empowering young people.
- Optimise engagement and fundraising opportunities to build long-term, mutually beneficial relationships; including but not limited to the delivery of significant donations, sponsorships and increased philanthropic support, as well as effective cause related marketing and Workplace Giving (WPG).
- Collaborate with the broader Marketing and Fundraising team to ensure strong brand awareness and loyalty by showcasing the positive impact of PCYC on the youth of NSW.
- Deliver profitable, sustainable growth, with the autonomy to proactively pursue executive engagement and influence decision makers to meet and exceed your targets.
**ABOUT US**
Established in 1937, PCYC NSW is a life changing charity collaborating in partnership with communities and NSW Police to empower youth, get kids active in life and reduce and prevent youth crime. We have sixty-six clubs and eighteen OOSH services across NSW, with a vision for significant growth.
Our aim is to engage with and positively influence over 70,000 youth members through mainstream sport, recreation, education, leadership, and cultural programs. We also work with at-risk youth to break the cycle of disadvantage through crime prevention, vocational education, youth capacity building and social responsibility programs to enhance the life direction and outcomes of over 7,500 youth per year.
**ABOUT YOU**
You are a senior partnerships lead, with core skills and experience in business development and relationship management with High-Net-worth Individuals, Corporates and Philanthropic Trusts and Foundations. You have a proven track record of successfully driving and maintaining partnerships and exceeding targets. Your ability to communicate with and effectively influence C-suite executives and Board Directors to execute and drive enhancements to partnerships is essential. Strong commercial acumen is a key skill and critical to your success, as will be your exceptional engagement skills, and ability to transform strategy into action to make a real and measurable impact.
You will identify, capture and nurture partnerships and will continually develop the prospect pipeline. Working with the CEO and GM, Fundraising and Marketing you will proactively pitch and win new partnerships that will secure creative, multi-year and larger value opportunities for PCYC NSW, whilst managing and nurturing our existing partnerships.
**YOU WILL HAVE**:
- A proven track record and success in identifying, capturing and developing and retaining long term and high value strategic partnerships in the NFP sector or in a role where you worked closely with the community sector from a commercial/CSR position.
- A passion for exceeding targets and outcomes - you are results driven.
- Strong commercial acumen, and experience in developing and structuring business and partnership agreements and contracts.
- Proven experience executing philanthropic strategies.
- The drive and creativity to think differently and explore new opportunities that support sustainable growth, are ethically aligned and provide benefits to all partners.
- Strong business acumen, planning, financial, and analytical skills.
- A strong alignment to the PCYC NSW behaviours and values - Resilience, Respect, Integrity, Commitment, Citizenship.
