The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is Australia's leading not-for-profit organisation funding world-class breast cancer research towards our vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.
Since NBCF's inception in 1994, they have invested over $200 million into more than 600 world-class research projects across Australia.
In this time, the death rate from breast cancer in Australia has reduced by over 40%. They have seen remarkable results, but the job's not done.

Impact you will have in this role
The Philanthropy and Partnerships Administrator will play a pivotal role in supporting the success of a team focused on delivering outcomes to support NBCF's bold 5-year Pink Horizon research strategy, to enable and accelerate the innovative research needed to end deaths from breast cancer.
This is a fantastic career opportunity for someone who loves a varied role and enjoys supporting the success of programs and teams from behind the scenes by applying strengths across data and reporting, project coordination, process improvement, and general administration to help the team meet fundraising objectives and to guarantee the best experience for each donor and corporate partner.
You will be the go-to for all members of the Philanthropy and Partnerships team, and will equip the team with the right processes, systems, tools and data insights as they maximise income from major donors, corporate partners, trusts, foundations, and other strategic partnerships. You will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and data skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve team processes and systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support the development and maintenance across the Philanthropy and Partnerships team of processes and practices for prospect pipelines, donor journeys, and stewardship frameworks.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system (Raisers Edge) including donor data, meeting notes, engagement history, pledges and tracking.
- Assist in developing and preparation of tailored proposals, grant applications and briefing notes for donor meetings and corporate pitches.
- Conduct research to develop donor profiles including desk research and specialist portals including Strategic Grants.
- Develop and maintain accurate reports to track, monitor and review as required Philanthropy and Partnerships income and pipelines against budget forecasts ensuring accuracy of coding and identification of issues and/or outstanding payments.
- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders including Finance, Supporter Services, Research, Data, Individual Giving and Community Fundraising to support with the delivery Philanthropy and Partnerships objectives and requirements.
- Maintain excellent relationships across the organisation and represent the Philanthropy and Partnerships team at internal meetings where required.
Skills and Experience
- Proven success supporting a team with responsibilities across database management, project coordination, administration, and the implementation of process improvement initiatives.
- High level of proficiency with CRM/databases (preferably Raiser's Edge), Excel, and data reporting tools.
- Accurate reporting capabilities and the ability to analyse information to make data-driven decisions and recommendations.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to balance and execute competing priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a drive and genuine enthusiasm to help others.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a flexible, positive, and collaborative approach.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and process integrity.
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a strong team player.
