**About Us**

**About the Role**

Reporting to the Manager | Operations (VIC), you will be responsible for the day-to-day customer service and administration of multiple property insurance claims. You will be in regular contact with clients, internal staff members and customers to keep them updated regarding their claims ensuring a seamless claims process. Responsibilities include:

- Processing new claims, scheduling estimators and submiting quotes
- Answering incoming calls & making outbound calls relating to claims
- Updating notes to internal and client systems
- Preparing and providing documentation relating to the claim
- Issuing purchase orders to specialist trades
- Approving incoming invoices from respective trades
- Scoping / contract amendments for presentation purposes

**About You**
- Proven customer service experience
- Great communication skills and the ability to build rapport with people
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Ability to plan and prioritise your work
- High level of computer competency
- Claims, Insurance and/ or building industry experience (any are desirable)

As the insurance building sector is heavily influenced by insurable weather events, overtime is occasionally required during these event times.
