**Customer Quality & Production Specialist**

The purpose of this role is to develop proactive strategies for product and service quality including coordination of claims and customer feedback related to product and service quality across ANZ for vegetable Seeds.

The role will help the broader business deliver innovation whilst building greater trust with our customers. Through your work you will ensure we have a strong competitive position across market segments and hat our internal processes align. The role will also support production systems, ensuring a smooth data flow with third party in product supply platforms, specifically with our ANZ tollers, at a plant level.

**Key Tasks and responsibilities will include**:

- Define and deploy Veg Seed Customer Quality programs (quality claim management, Dispositions, recalls.
- Be responsible for making response teams and communications for all significant quality issues in the region, including oversight of all claims and customer feedback.
- Develop the strategy to map emerging trends, lead efforts to collect, aggregate and analyse data, ensuring all related product and service quality insights are included in key decision processes
- Develop the strategy for utilize internal and external sources of intelligence related to product and service quality to position growth opportunities and deliver tailored solutions
- Develop the market validation plans and coordinate associated QC testing capability to meet market requirements
- Oversee the product specification program, execute competitor and customer benchmarking activities
- Colloborate with key industry partners
- Work closely with the commercial Marketing teams to develop and deliver key information and knowledge to customers
- Champion seed technology, digital and service improvements
- Drive training on all aspects related to quality, promoting activities and accomplishments cross functionally
- Colloborate with production teams that have productions ongoing in ANZ, supporting the last portion of the production process at plant level
- Visit tollers production locations ensuring control of the Tolling process, from product arrivals to the plant, all the way to the shipment of the seed to a Bayer location.
- Investigate any quality process deviations or timing concerns with growers and tollers
- Help the production teams manage inventories in ANZ as productions get released, connecting them with CYP and the ship as basic process

**To be successful in this role you will**:

- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business management, agronomy or Life Sciences
- Substantial Commercial, Product supply or other relevant experience
- Be highly collaborative
- A strategic thinker with the ability to navigate processes and systems within Bayer
- Strong customer centricity with understanding of the relevant market
- Outstanding communication and influencing skills
- Be self-motivated, results driven and ability to use your initiative
- Excellent business and financial acumen
- Be able to travel domestically and internally (15-20% of your time)
