**About the role**
As the Head of People and Culture you will be a collaborative, energetic and passionate people leader, who will lead a small, multiskilled People and Culture team to deliver a strategic plan and initiatives for our people that encompasses all aspects of the employee lifecycle at Penten.
You will work closely with the Executive Leadership team (ELT) and broader business to provide expert HR advice and guidance that drives people capability and business performance through a period of sustained business growth.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead, mentor and coach a small multiskilled People and Culture team to deliver all people related activities and initiatives across the business.
- Provide high level strategic HR & ER advice and guidance to our ELT, people and people leads across all people matters including people experience, coaching, performance management, engagement, culture, growth and development, and employment conditions, remuneration and benefits.
- Manage complex people and workplace matters such as disputes, grievances, investigations, restructures and significant people change programs as required.
- Contribute to the development of a collaborative high performance culture through leading employee engagement, employee experience, cultural initiatives, leadership and people capability and focussing on people analytics, data driven decision making, trends and reporting.
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with our ELT, people and people leads, to ensure People and Culture activities and initiatives align with our business units.
- Lead the development, implementation and improvement of people frameworks, processes, guidelines and systems.
**About you**
- You will have demonstrated experience as a People and Culture / HR Manager in a complex environment, with experience in a fast growing, start-up or founder led business being advantageous
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or similar
- Experience providing strategic and operational expertise and coaching across all aspects of the Human Resources function to all levels of the organisation
- Demonstrated experience in ER, employment legislation and framework
- High level communication and interpersonal skills to build strategic, trusting and respectful partnerships
- Ability to influence, negotiate and leverage strategic relationships to gain commitment and support for business initiatives.
- Sound leadership skills with the ability to motivate, engage and develop people
- Resilient and the ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
- Ability to work in a high security environment with the upmost regard for confidentiality and working with sensitive information
