Hays Recruitment are proud to represent our client to assist in the recruitment for their People and Culture Administrator position located in Canberra central.
Your new role
Reporting to the Executive General Manager, People and Culture, the People and Culture Administrator is responsible for the administration of the day-to-day operations of the People and Culture function. This role is also responsible for corporate administration support as required.
- Administer and monitor company benefits including corporate and PPE clothing, and the EAP service.
- Assist in the coordination of the recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Assist in the development and review of human resources work instructions, procedures, forms, and position descriptions.
- Support fortnightly payroll for all employees, working closely with ADP.
- Support the People and Culture team in the creation and roll-out of human resources programs and projects.
- Facilitate the delivery of the yearly performance review process.
- Provide administrative services including preparation and compilation of People & Culture and finance reports, and preparation and distribution of internal and external correspondence.
What you'll need to succeed
- Demonstrated previous experience in a human resources administration.
- Demonstrated experience building effective working relationships internally & externally and ability to seek relevant advice/information from appropriate people and sources.
- Able to work effectively and flexibly within a team environment
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills.
- High-level organisation skills including well-developed priority-setting skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Certificate in Business Administration, Human Resources, or other relevant qualification (preferred).
- Driver’s licence.
