HRm Lead Data Specialist

Our Federal Government Client is seeking a HRM Data Specialist Lead.

The term of this engagement will be for 15 months with one 12 month extension option to support future tranche activities. Further extension is possible. This is located at our Client's **Canberra** location.
- Guide the business users in the functional master data design for all Human Resource Management data objects in the Defence ERP solution;
- Lead the Human Resource Management data conversion activities in Extract, Transform and Load (ETL).
- Collaborate with the Program Technical Data Build team and direct the alignment of activities between the functional and technical data build team.
- Develop and/or review Data Standards covering relevant objects to meet business requirements and governance objectives.
- Lead the definition and development of Data Construction templates as required.
- Support cleansing, enrichment and migration based on defined standards.
- Delineate pre and post go live data enrichment and quality improvement work.
- Manage data defects assigned to the business in accordance with defect priority and required action by dates.
- Drive solutions and actions for cross-functional stream data integration for the Human Resource Management.
- Draft and maintain Data Management Agreements.
- Support Data Stewards in remediation of legacy system data prior to migration into the ERP S4 platform by analysing legacy and constructed data within the Human Resource Management Workstream.
- Support construction of data across Defence Groups & Services where suitable dataset is not available in legacy systems.
- Support and oversee Data Profiling, Quality and Defect identification and resolution.
- Develop patterns and insights from messy data to assist with successful conversion of data
- Lead a multi-party collaboration and delivery across a broad set of stakeholders within Defence, System Integrator(s) and SAP.
- Support planning, scheduling, execution/delivery, progress tracking & reporting for Human Resource Management workstream
- Enable communication to project and business stakeholders.
- Identify and Manage Data Conversion Risks and Issues.

**To be successful in this role you should have**:

- 5+ years Data Migration to SAP experience
- 5+ years SAP solution experience in SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC6 Modules
- University degree and/or 5+ years' experience including ICT and relevant business domain
- Very good communication and negotiation skills, including technical feedback;
- The ability to work within and contribute to a small team; and

The ability to think laterally and take the initiative to drive activities to completion.
