**The Role**
As the Team Lead Cyber Security Compliance, you will:

- Identify, manage and coordinate the reporting of outstanding patch (remediation) states on Defence ICT systems.
- Good understanding of Information Security Manual (ISM) and the Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF).
- Excellent communication skills and able to maintain professional relations with variety of stakeholder and team members.

**About our Team**
Within ICT Security Branch of CIOG, Cyber Security Compliance (CSC) team works closely with a variety of stakeholders and monitors ICT compliance of Defence ICT infrastructure. The main role of CSC team is to aid protection of the confidentiality, integrity and availability of Defence data. CSC is a small team of highly skilled Cyber Security Experts.

CSC team performs following functions:

- Influence Vulnerability & Patch Management of Defence ICT.
- Lead the operation of the Defence Patch Management process.
- Host and manage the Defence Cyber Security Compliance forum - to enable timely communication with key Defence ICT stakeholders on matters pertaining to Defence ICT security posture and discuss methods and mechanisms by which risks and vulnerabilities are minimised or eradicated thus providing higher compliance levels of cyber security in line with the intent of the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD)/Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) Essential 8 (strategies to mitigate cyber security incidents).

As a Team Leader, you will:

- Manage and influence positive security outcomes in the usage and administration of Defence ICT.
- Support in ensuring the alignment of Defence ICT to the ASD Essential 8 mitigation strategies through targeted advisories and routine compliance forums.
- Work with mínimal supervision to prioritise, research, coordinate, and deliver a full range of high quality deliverables in a busy small team environment.
- Skilfully manage a range of competing priorities, effectively adjust to changing work demands and deliver desirable outcomes/meet deadlines.
- Be responsible for managing key stakeholder relationships and to identify relevant stakeholder expectations and concerns to develop and communicate methodologies and practices to achieve outcomes.
- Demonstrate the capability of building team capability through coaching, feedback, reviewing, and developing the quality of work undertaken by others within a work unit.
