We have 8 sites across Australia, with our corporate office located in Coopers Plains, Queensland.

**About the role**:
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role will be based in North Plympton, SA and will take responsibility for the management of the branch, involving production efficiency, management of staff and assisting our sales department as required. The position will require a “hands on” approach in managing and troubleshooting day to day production issues in a sheet metal fabrication / light engineering environment.

This is a great opportunity for someone with management experience within a manufacturing and light engineering environment.
- Manage the continual growth of the branch.
- Manage the team of administration and production staff.
- Schedule and manage day to day production to meet order requirements.
- Manage operations to ensure the profitability of the branch; meet budget requirements.
- Manage all production equipment, stocks and consumables.
- Coordinate staff recruitment, induction and training.
- Ensure the overall health, safety and welfare of all our personnel, contractors or visitors.
- Actively promote all company Quality Assurance/ Quality Control requirements.
- Minimum 5 years management experience in a sheet metal fabrication / light engineering environment
- Tertiary qualifications in Business / Trade, desirable
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Working experience of budgets and forecasts
- Excellent understanding of maximising productivity in a production environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to respond to a changing work environment
- Understanding of safety, environment HR and IR legislation
- Understanding of Quality management and continuous improvement
- Drivers Licence Required
