Philmac is a proud South Australian based manufacturer, established in 1929 right here in Adelaide. As an advanced manufacturer, we hold core competencies in product design, tool design, injection moulding and automated assembly of high-quality products for global water markets.
This is an exciting time to join Philmac as we are investing more than $30Million in our North Plympton plant and will see us utilise the latest automation technologies to transform our business and double our production capacity. This will include modernisation of our existing automated assembly processes and automated storage and retrieval warehouse, and an expansion of our fleet of autonomous robots.
**About the Role**:
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the role will primarily cover the rural, irrigation and hardware markets and work closely with distribution partners and a well-established, highly valued territory within the Sydney basin. The role will increase and drive new sales with all retail partners through managing key account relationships and industry stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Focus on increasing share of wallet with existing and new customers through sales led growth initiatives
- Account development and customer relationship management
- Product training and merchandising activity
- Reporting and tracking on industry and competitor activity
- Execution of promotional and marketing initiatives
- Inventory management
- A strong background in sales with proven experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated experience in B2B selling
- Understanding of the Rural, Irrigation, Hardware and OEM markets with an understanding of the principles relating to the movement of water
- Proven track record in sales and KPI achievement
