We are seeking an Operations Coordinator to streamline and enhance our production processes. This role involves assisting with production, quality assurance, technical support, procurement, and sales activities. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure efficient operations and maintain our high standards.

Wagon Paints is a leading Australian supplier of high-quality coatings and systems, tailored to meet any industrial specification and budget. We are proud to be fully Australian-owned and committed to supporting local manufacturing through our purpose-built plant in Bayswater North.

Key Responsibilities:

- Production & Planning: Assist with production processes, resolve issues, and support the General Manager. Develop production schedules, manage budgets, and optimize resources.
- Quality Assurance: Help with quality control, ensure compliance with standards, and resolve quality issues in coordination with the QA Manager.
- Technical Support: Provide technical assistance, troubleshoot issues, and support technical projects under the guidance of the Technical Manager.
- Procurement & Supply Chain: Support procurement by sourcing materials, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery. Manage inventory and coordinate with the sales team.
- Sales Support: Assist the sales team with technical specifications, field visits, and customer meetings, as directed by the National Sales Manager.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and analyze production, technical, and procurement reports. Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with management requirements.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- At least 3 years of experience in production coordination or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality assurance.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
