We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to oversee our fish processing facility, improving operations and driving excellence across every stage of production. This is a great fulltime opportunity for a strong leader with experience in an FMCG industry.

**The role**

The Production Manager plays an important role in leading the daily operations of our fish processing facility, ensuring efficiency, safety and product quality. Key responsibilities will include:

- Managing production schedules and resource allocation to meet operational targets
- Driving compliance with WHS, HACCP, GMP, and relevant food safety regulations
- Leading and developing staff to build a skilled, high-performing team
- Overseeing product quality, inventory control, and waste management
- Implementing continuous improvement and maintenance coordination to enhance performance and reduce costs

**About you**

With proven leadership and technical expertise in food production environments, you will bring:

- A hands-on leadership style with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams in a fast-paced, shift-based setting
- A good understanding of food safety standard and regulatory compliance
- Strength in production planning, equipment oversight, and rapid problem-solving to maintain efficiency and minimise waste
- Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills to collaborate effectively and support continuous improvement
