**The Opportunity**

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced National Manager - Product Support for our Construction Equipment. Reporting to General Manager - Service your main responsibility will be to lead a small team of specialists delivering product and technical support for Hitachi Construction Equipment including product issue management, issue escalation, stakeholder engagement, diagnostic evaluation, and reliability engineering to our external and internal stakeholders. Responsibility also towards the National Product Support Management of Construction Equipment Major Accounts, Construction Equipment Life Cycle Costing, MARC and EService administration.

Your other accountabilities will include:

- Ensure that OEM and HCA technical documentation is monitored, and up to date
- Provide support as required towards National Major Accounts. IE: Tender responses, equipment demonstration & deliveries and industry events.
- Providing timely Product & Technical Support through established process
- Proactive identification of continuous & business improvement opportunities
- Account Management of Construction Equipment Major Accounts.

- Customer Support mindset with can go attitude towards solutions
- Ideally trade qualified with equipment operation and maintenance experience
- Business acumen with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- MS Suite knowledge & experience
- Previous experience in Mining / Construction Equipment Product & Technical Support
