**Sales Specialist - Specialty & Medical Gases**
Our Client a leader in the supply of Gas and Welding products are looking for experienced **Sales Specialist** to join their team.
**You will be responsible for**:
- Managing relationships and contracts for all customers in designated sales territory to develop a long term and commercially profitable relationship
- Generating and maintaining a profitable and sustainable business sales / account in line with strategic plan and individual targets
- Growing your territory through identifying and winning new business opportunities, securing and increasing sales where profitable
- Entering into contracts with new and existing customers
- Producing proposals, detailed costings and contract documents to ensure all transactions deliver maximum profit
- Monitoring market trends through personal contact with clients and suppliers and attendance at industry meetings and seminars
**About you**:
- Ideally Tertiary Qualifications in Business, Chemical Engineering or a Trade Qualification
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Ability to identify and action business growth opportunities
- Knowledge of the gas industry desirable
- Ability to self manage
- As the successful applicant you will ideally have previous Business Development / Sales experience in the Gas Industry. It will be your strong work ethic and “can-do” attitude that will see you excel in this role._
